Hey, what's up?

Here's the history bit... it all started off, way back in 1999 when we were first year students at the Art & Design Centre in Valletta, Malta. Heathcliffe, a guy in our class had told us a joke that ended with Marwiel Russu, disgħa pulzieri u nofs (a nine and a half inch Russian Marwiel).

Maybe it was the way he said it, maybe it was because it was a different way of referring to it, whatever it was made it stick. From that point onwards, it had a new name... Marwiel.

It wasn't long before a logo was designed, with the collaboration of Heathcliffe, Mario and Gabriel. The whole class and soon enough the entire school, started drawing it on every desk, whiteboard and car windscreen under the sun and the rest, as they say... is history.

A limited edition run of 40 t-shirts were printed around May '02 and were sold-out within 3 days to students, teachers and school administration alike. Small computer-cut stickers were made and still grace the bottom right hand corner of some of our rear windscreens.
